The Story Behind Lumina
Lumina Consulting grew out of years spent supporting the people who shape the travel industry. Before Lumina, that work lived under Cornerstone People Solutions: helping leaders and teams in travel and tourism build capability, get through change, and create workplaces people genuinely wanted to be part of.
That work hasn't stopped. It's simply found a new name, and a much wider scope.
Behind Lumina is Cassandra, a strategist, facilitator, and learning designer with a long-standing commitment to practical, evidence-based leadership development. Her experience spans organisational capability, instructional design, and facilitation, built over years of working closely with travel and tourism businesses to understand what actually helps leaders and teams perform at their best. Alongside that, she's spent an equal number of years training in nervous system health and embodied practice, work that now sits inside Lumina rather than running as something separate.
Lumina exists because good leadership development shouldn't be generic. It should be grounded in real industry experience, built around real people, and free of the jargon and cookie-cutter programs that miss the mark. Every program, coaching offer, and workshop starts from that same place: practical, human, and designed to create change that actually sticks.
What sets Lumina apart is the breadth of what's here without losing depth in any of it. One-to-one leadership coaching sits alongside a structured development program, sits alongside Somatic Experiencing work, sits alongside a retreat. Different rooms, same building.
